We serve Highlands County, Indian River County, Palm Beach County & Lee County fishing for Largemouth Bass, Peacock Bass & Snook. We fish on Headwaters Lake, Lake Placid, Lake Ida, Lake Osborne & the Caloosahatchee River.
We fish with artificial baits & live Shiners. When fishing artificial baits, we will be using casting and spinning rods punching heavy vegetation with big worms, pulling Carolina rigs, shaky heads, drop shots, senkos, top water frogs, spin baits, buzz baits, chatter baits plus other techniques not listed. If you are wanting to use live Shiners for your trip you will need to let your guide know beforehand so he can have them ready. Live Shiners are not included in the price of the trip, and are an extra charge per dozen.
We will be fishing out of a piece of Bass fishing history. Back when the Bassmaster’s Classic would supply the boats for the tournament anglers. It’s a 1996 25th Bassmaster’s Classic Edition 19’ 6” Ranger 482VS dual console Bass Boat. It is powered by a 175HP 4-Stroke Suzuki. It is rigged with complete lithium battery system, Minn Kota Ultrex 36V 112LBS with spot lock, 2 Lowrance HDS Live 12” on the bow and a Lowrance HDS 9” Gen3 at the console, forward facing sonar with Lowrance Active Target 2 on a Rite Hite Turret. Don’t let the age of the boat fool you. This boat can still hold its own and has been kept in amazing condition with all the up-to-date equipment and electronics of today.
Capt. Brett has his U.S. Coast Guard 6-pack license. He is the owner and founder of Florida Fishing Adventures. He began guiding 2018. He has guided on the rivers and lakes of Washington State for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, eater & trophy Walleye, Sockeye Salmon, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Steelhead & monster Sturgeon. He also guided in Idaho for Trophy Smallmouth Bass on Dworshak Reservoir, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon & Trophy B-Run Steelhead on the Clearwater River.
Headwaters Lake Largemouth Bass
Headwaters Lake Largemouth Bass 4 hours, 2-person fishing trip $400.00. Additional 3rd person is $100.00. Each additional hour is $50.00 up to 8 hours max. We can use artificial baits or Live Shiners. If you opt for using Live Shiners, you will need to cover the cost of the bait. Bait is not included in the price of the trip. It is recommended to use Live Shiners for the best explosive and take down action, but we can still have great days fishing with artificial baits. Depending on conditions we can have around 20 bites a day on artificial baits or up to 20-60 bites a day using Live Shiners. We have had days using live bait where we have caught and landed up to 50 Bass. You never know when you’ll hook into that trophy Largemouth Bass 8+lbs.
Lake Placid Largemouth Bass
Lake Placid Largemouth Bass 4 hours, 1-person fishing trip $400.00, 2nd person is Free, additional 3rd person is $100.00. Each additional hour is $50.00 up to 8 hours max. We can use artificial baits or Live Shiners. If you opt for using Live Shiners, you will need to cover the cost of the bait. Bait is not included in the price of the trip. It is recommended to use Live Shiners for the best explosive and take down action, but we can still have great days fishing with artificial baits. Depending on conditions we can have around 20 bites a day on artificial baits or up to 20-60 bites a day using Live Shiners.
